BFBS Forces News presenter Sian Grzeszczyk Melbourne is an award-winning journalist with more than 17 years of experience, including nearly a decade reporting for the BBC. Working for Forces News has seen her report on defence and security stories from across the world including the Middle East, Asia, the USA, Europe and she was based at RAF Akrotiri for two years.
Sian was the first British journalist to fly in a US Army Apache attack helicopter and briefly take the controls.
She co-hosts the annual Celebrating Forces Families awards and is a military spouse.
