Ben Chapman is the CEO of the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), with 25 years of experience in broadcasting and digital media. He has a strong track record of adapting to evolving audience behaviours through technology and content.
At the BBC, he led digital teams for Radio and Music, overseeing major events like Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and launched BBC Sounds in 2018. He then became Senior Director of Content at Audible UK, overseeing their ‘Originals’ portfolio.
Now at BFBS, Ben is driving transformation with cutting-edge technology, strategic media partnerships, and original content across news, audio, and video. His mission is to position BFBS as a trusted, people-centric brand for the UK’s Armed Forces worldwide, navigating the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing media landscape.
